Want to join a postnatal class but have questions?
Here are some commonly asked questions and answers:
When can I start?
When you're ready. I usually say once you've had your 6 - 8 week postnatal GP check. This may be longer for c-section births (to give sufficient time for recovery)
Can I bring my baby?
Yes, babies are absolutely welcome in class - whether they're napping, feeding or wriggling beside you, my classes are flexible, understanding and welcoming.
What if my baby cries?
That's completely normal. You're free to feed, stop, cuddle and comfort your baby at any time. The classes are flexible around you and your baby.
These postnatal sessions are aimed to be restorative, bringing in an element of functional exercises to support your daily movements like lifting, feeding, and carrying your baby.
Together we'll work to strengthen and develop a functional inner core, making sure you have a solid foundation before progressing onto more challenging exercises.
Take the time for yourself, you deserve it.
